The RTR Accountant plays a critical role in managing the General Ledger function, with a strong emphasis on revenue-related accounts and financial close processes. This position ensures compliance with US GAAP standards and contributes to accurate financial reporting. Key responsibilities include month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and flux analysis, especially for new products. The role also involves supporting quarterly reporting deliverables and driving continuous process improvements.

YOU WILL

·       Prepare journal entries, complete account reconciliations, and conduct flux analysis for new products.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and timely financial close.

·       Implement and monitor revenue recognition policies in compliance with US GAAP.

·       Analyze contracts to identify revenue-generating activities and ensure ethical revenue recognition practices.

·       Conduct flow analysis on revenue accounts, providing insights into financial impacts.

·       Assist in quarterly reporting deliverables, including collaboration on 10Q/10K processes.

·       Ensure accuracy in financial data and adherence to reporting standards.

·       Maintain high standards for SOX compliance, specifically focusing on revenue recognition practices.

·       Support internal audits and ensure all processes align with regulatory requirements.

·       Collaborate with teams such as Accounting Operations (AP/AR) and Financial Reporting to optimize processes.

·       Develop and maintain process documentation for revenue recognition policies and financial close activities.

YOU NEED

·       Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, with a focus on revenue recognition and financial close processes.

·       Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

·       Strong knowledge of US GAAP, particularly in revenue recognition guidance.

·       Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements and best practices.

·       Proficiency in accounting systems; experience with NetSuite and SQL is highly desirable.

·       Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, especially in revenue-related analysis.

·       Process-oriented mindset with a proven ability to handle complex accounts and tasks.

·       Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
