We are looking for a skilled Cloud Oracle DBA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing Oracle databases in cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle databases while ensuring their availability, performance, and security in the cloud. The Cloud Oracle DBA will work closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to provide expert database support.

YOU WILL

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases in cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance and implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions.

  • Design, deploy, and migrate Oracle databases to cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, utilizing cloud-native tools to enhance performance.

  • Implement and maintain database security policies, ensure compliance with industry standards, and conduct regular security audits.

  • Develop scripts and automation tools for database management, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring.

  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams, providing 24/7 support for critical issues and ensuring seamless database integration.

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation and generate regular reports on database performance, capacity, and usage.

YOU NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator) are highly desirable
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with other database technologies, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
  • Fluency in English and at least communicative knowledge of French or other European language
