The ‘Alliance Director - Cloud Partnerships’ role involves evangelizing  and nurturing relationships with cloud partners that include Microsoft, AWS & GCP. The primary objective is to strengthen and expand this collaboration to ultimately generate a strong qualified sales pipeline.

This role involves leading the relationship across EMEA. Success in these partnerships is demonstrated by driving awareness of the solution, growing the joint pipeline, delivering key Go-To-Market (GTM) programs, establishing critical executive relationships, and ensuring customer success.

YOU WILL

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow the business with cloud partners in the EMEA region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at cloud partners and within the organization.
  • Create awareness of products within the cloud partner ecosystems through targeted marketing and engagement activities, and leverage this increased product awareness to drive sales funnel growth via cloud partner sellers by identifying and driving joint business opportunities, including co-selling, co-marketing, and co-innovation initiatives.
  • Track and report on alliance performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in cloud technology and the competitive landscape.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Datadog’s enterprise, mid-market, and commercial sales organizations.
  • Identify and qualify net-new opportunities by leveraging cloud alliance partnerships.
  • Enable and activate stakeholders within cloud alliances and build communities.
  • Generate alliance-sourced net-new sales pipeline and revenue.

YOU NEED

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales with 5+ years in channel sales or channel program management experience with accountability for revenue targets
  • Experience of working with Cloud Alliances and Tech Alliances (other ISVs) a plus
  • Skilled in driving sales, partner sourced and partner influenced opportunities
  • Proficiency in English and Polish with a preference for additional proficiency in French, German, or Dutch
  • Strong executive presence
  • Bachelors Degree 
  • Valid work permit
  • Travel Required:  Estimated at 25-50% (variable)
