Global Head of Outsourcing

Helprise is an organization that combines global reach with local talent. We work for companies that value quality, partnership, and responsibility, creating teams that really work. By precisely matching skills and business needs, we connect specialists with projects where their knowledge has a real impact. By joining us, you become part of an environment where matching is not a coincidence, but a decision.

We are looking for an experienced Global Head of Outsourcing to lead and develop the Group-wide outsourcing governance framework across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting global standards for the full outsourcing lifecycle - from identification and risk assessment, through approval, contracting and onboarding, to ongoing monitoring, remediation and exit. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Legal, Procurement, Technology, Operational Resilience and Service Management, while providing functional guidance to Local Outsourcing Managers.

The role is particularly focused on ensuring regulatory compliance, effective third-party risk management and consistent outsourcing governance across the Group, while respecting the decision-making responsibilities of local regulated entities.

YOU WILL

  • Own and continuously develop the Group Outsourcing governance framework, including policies, procedures, methodologies and standards.
  • Define and oversee global standards for the end-to-end outsourcing lifecycle.
  • Coordinate Group-level outsourcing assessments, approvals and governance reviews, including the identification of critical or important functions (CIFs) and material outsourcing arrangements.
  • Ensure the outsourcing framework remains aligned with EBA Outsourcing Guidelines, DORA and related regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the quality and consistency of Outsourcing and DORA Registers of Information across entities.
  • Monitor third-party risk, sub-outsourcing, concentration risk and cross-entity dependencies and escalate material risks where required.
  • Define and oversee standards for contractual requirements, exit planning and operational resilience.
  • Support supervisory inspections, audits and regulatory information requests, and coordinate remediation of Group-level findings.
  • Provide functional leadership, guidance and expertise to Local Outsourcing Managers across different jurisdictions.
  • Prepare consolidated reporting for senior management and the Executive Risk and Compliance Committee, covering outsourcing risks, critical providers, incidents, concentration risks, audit findings and exit readiness.
  • Work closely with Group Risk, Compliance, TPRM, Legal, Procurement, Technology and business stakeholders to ensure effective governance and consistent practices across the organisation.
  • Communicate regulatory and framework changes clearly to local entities and senior stakeholders, including their potential risk and business impact.

YOU NEED

  • Significant experience in outsourcing governance, third-party risk management, vendor management, operational risk or a related area within financial services.
  • Experience in leading or developing a Group-wide / international function across multiple entities or jurisdictions.
  • Expert knowledge of EBA Outsourcing Guidelines and DORA, including relevant technical standards and the Register of Information.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing outsourcing governance frameworks, registers and governance processes.
  • Experience working with financial institutions, banks, fintechs, payment or e-money institutions; experience with cross-border operations is highly desirable.
  • Experience engaging with regulators, auditors and senior management.
  • Strong understanding of third-party risk, sub-outsourcing, concentration risk, operational resilience and exit planning.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex regulatory and risk topics to executive-level audiences.
  • Strong analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills.
  • A degree in Law, Finance, Business, Economics, Risk Management or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certification, such as CTPRP, CRISC or an operational risk qualification, would be an advantage.
  • Fluent English.
